Seasons Change. As the holidays fast approach boating venues shift. In the northeast the season is over. Boats have been on the hard for weeks now in preparation for winter. The lucky ones they have headed south to more temporate regions like Florida and tropical Carribean waters. On the west coast the southern migration too is in full swing. The Seas of Cortez and the Gold Coast of Mexico are fast filling with new devotees and seasoned mariners alike. In the Southern Hemisphere summer is in full swing and boating season is in now high gear. No matter where you travel Sailtrac is here for you to share your adventures with friends and family. By the New Year we will be removing the BETA logo and implementing our Version 1 application.

We wish you all a Healthy and Happy Holiday Season aboard and abroad!

                                                                                 Fair Winds and Calm Seas!

The holidays are a time for giving back and giving thanks. Sailors, cruisers, and boaters are a lucky bunch. We cruise the waters of our dreams and have made a conscious choice to step out of the normal routine and live life on our own terms. There is much to be thankful for and the opportunity to give a little back is both rewarding and a dose of good karma. While far from superstitious I still believed that good deeds do go unpunished. Preparation counts. Checking thru hulls and sea cocks before heading out insure safety. Maintain a vigilent watch keeps potential danger at bay. Performing those small maintenance tasks ensure lazy days on the hook. They become those little "chits" or brownie points that add up to a rewarding time on the water and smaller more manageable problems. More enjoyment equals less aggrivation and thats what you want when aboard or abroad. It is the same process for our oceans, bays, and waterways. When you leave a clean wake and support a non-profit organization that focuses on ocean education or environmental protection of marine ecosystems you earn yourself a few chits and brownie points that go a long way. Consider the fine organizations that Sailtrac sponsors by clicking on "Affiliate Programs" and get your network of family and friends to involved too. Worst case is you'll feel good about yourself and those "chits" it may save you from having to ever perform serious repairs on the mascerator and waste hose...
